Our Support

As we travel to Italy to serve the Lord as church planting missionaries, we are only a small part of a large team.  We need supporters to pray for us, give financially, and encourage us.  Here are some ways that you can have a part in our ministry.

And if you are already a part of our team - THANK YOU!  The ministry that the Lord does through us will add up to your "account".

"Not that I seek for the gift ; but I seek for the fruit that increaseth to your account."  - Phil 4:17

Updated Support Needs
(Updated May 13, 2008)

Prayer Support

Our goal is to have, on average, 100 people praying for us each day.  After updating our records with the reply cards and e-mails we received, we are now down to just 77.6% prayer support.

If you ALREADY pray for us, and HAVE NOT returned your reply card (or a reply e-mail) - please contact us so we can include you in our teacm of prayer supporters.

If you would like to JOIN our prayer team, please let us know.

WE NEED PRAYER SUPPORTERS!!

Financial Support
(81.4%)

As we begin our third term in Italy, we are now at 80.4% of full support (full support now means full salary and our current housing costs in Domodossola - considerably less than housing in Milan).

While it would be nice to be fully supported, we can still comfortably get by on less than full support.  However, this leaves us no "cushion" for further weakening of the dollar or supporters who must discontinue our support.

We did see the Lord provide a substantial amount of increased support during our time of home ministry, but due to the free falling dollar we are still short of the support we need to "break even" (even considering our reduced salary and housing).  While a small surplus of funds in our account at the mission (from "advanced support" towards this term) will cover this shortfall for a time, there is not enough there to get us through to the end of the current term.  There is a gap of about $114/month or $3,990 for this term (ending March 2011).

Will you pray with us that the Lord will "fill this gap"?  (Note that since we first posted this that gap has already gone down from $184/mo the $114/month.  Praise the Lord!)

If you would like our current support figures or would like a breakdown of what is included in our support amounts, please contact us and we will be happy to send that information to you.

So, how can you help?  We're glad you asked!

If you would like to help with our financial support, it is possible to do so in three ways:

  • Pledged support  This would be an amount that you pledge to send in monthly, quarterly or even annually.  You would begin sending in these amounts as soon as you make the pledge.  If you want to support us in this way, please let us know so that we can update our current need.

  • Advance support  For those who can not pledge or prefer to give one time gifts, It is possible to give a single gift towards our support for the next term (from April 2008 to March 2011). Your gift would be divided by 36 to arrive at the amount of monthly support it will provide for this next term.  For example, a gift of $720 would provide $20/month in support for our next term.  If you would like to give this type of  support, please designate your gift as "advanced support" so we will know to use it in this way.

  • Occasional gifts  Some people also send in occasional one time gifts.  These gifts can help with unexpected expenses or help us cover a shortfall in our pledged support.

If you would like more information on supporting us financially, please contact us.  You can also give towards our support on-line at CrossWorld's website.
